How does PRP therapy work for hair loss?
Our PRP procedure begins with a free consultation in which an assessment will take place of your hair loss, followed by a recommendation for an appropriate treatment. A small sample of blood is then taken from the patient (20ml) and then spun through a centrifuge, to produce plasma rich in a high concentration of platelets. The highly concentrated platelets contain proteins that promotes the growth of cells and hair follicles, essential for producing hair restoration. The platelet rich plasma is then injected via a micro-needle into the scalp.
