Effective Hair Loss Treatment Birmingham: New Dutasteride Mesotherapy for the Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia.

The main objective of this recent study was to describe the effectiveness and safety of dutasteride mesotherapy in real clinical practice in a large cohort of patients with androgenetic alopecia. This trial was performed as a multi-centric retrospective study and patients treated with at least 6 months of follow-up were included in the study. Efficiency and effectiveness on hair loss and side effects to the treatment were analysed.
A total of 541 patients were included within the study. The commonest treatment approach during the first year was to perform the treatment every 3 months. Most patients presented clinical improvement. Discomfort was the most frequent side effect of the treatment, with no serious or sexual adverse events were reported.
To conclude – dutasteride mesotherapy is an effective treatment for hair loss in male and female hair loss in real clinical practice, which is very well tolerated with minimal side effects related to the treatment, any of which are mild and self-limited. Based on the reports and clinical findings so far, dutasteride mesotherapy is certainly a good possible option for the treatment of hair loss, and may be an effective option for select patients wishing to avoid side-effects that can be associated with oral treatment.
