Effective Natural Treatment for Skin Pigmentation

It clearly goes without saying that our skin has a huge impact on our personal confidence. When our skin feels and looks good we feel great! Unfortunately, there are many factors that can contribute to or affect the natural beauty and vitality of our skin. Factors may include - skin pigmentation (a condition known as melasma) and acne scarring.

Our skin is unique to us and we can look after it in many different ways. The most effective skin rejuvenation and restoration treatments require a personalised tailored regime specifically to you and your personal requirements.

Here at Dynamic Regenerative Medicine, we are offering a FREE consultation with our skincare specialist Dr Helen Eckley who will offer you an in-depth personalised skin analysis, which will provide you with a diagnostic overview* of your condition along with effective treatments that will work for your skin to ultimately provide youthful radiance again. Along with your treatment, we can offer you some of the leading effective prescription-only skincare treatments, along with many non-prescription treatments like the leading dermatological laboratories such as Obagi Skin Care Range and Teoxane.

*If further diagnostic confirmation is needed, then the appropriate dermatological review will be provided.

What Causes Skin Hyperpigmentation?

There are many different types of skin hyperpigmentation, the common ones listed below:

.

  • Melasma

This is believed to be predisposed by hormonal changes and may develop during pregnancy. Areas of hyperpigmentation can appear on any area of the body, but they appear most commonly on the stomach and face.

  • Sunspots

Sunspots are common and are related to excessive sun damage over time. Generally, they appear as spots on the hands and face.

  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

This is a result of injury or inflammation to the skin. A common cause of this type is acne.

SKIN HYPERPIGMENTATION TREATMENT BIRMINGHAM & SOLIHULL

Effective Skin Pigmentation Treatment

Uneven skin pigmentation of the skin (patches of skin that appears darker than others), is often called hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation occurs when the skin cells that create melanin, a natural pigment in the body that gives colour, is activated either from being damaged. This can be caused by a variety of factors, including:

  • post-acne pigmentation

  • freckles

  • melasma

  • age spots

  • sun damage

Obagi-C® Systems is designed to provide healthier, revitalised skin from cell to surface. Obagi-C® System is a skin rejuvenation product that provides specially formulated ingredients, which reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and age spots, combined with 10% L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). This is the only topical antioxidant proven to stimulate collagen synthesis and minimising skin cell damage. Obagi-C® Systems are ideal for treating:

  • fine lines

  • uneven skin tone

  • mild cases of hyperpigmentation and age spots

  • dry, oily or sensitive skin.

Effective Scar Treatment

As well as acne scarring, injuries, cosmetic procedures and many surgeries these can often leave unwanted unsightly scars that create an uneven tone and texture. We can provide effective scar treatments that help to effectively and naturally reduce the appearance of both old and new scars. These treatments are designed to encourage skin healing and to promote collagen stimulation to combat scars and marks. In addition, the provided treatments work to form a transparent protective layer over the skin to keep hydrated and healthy. Treatments work to:

  • Soften rough skin texture

  • Reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks

  • Promote and restore smooth, even skin
