Appointment Cancellation Policy

Whilst we appreciate their maybe occasional unavoidable situations and circumstances that warrant last minute changes we have recently had an abundance of missed appointments. As we are a very busy clinic with patients on a waiting list to come and see as for various different conditions, missed appointments are greatly disappointing to us.

If your appointment time becomes inconvenient for you, we are always more then happy to reschedule this with two business days’ notice. This can then allow us to schedule in a patient who may be in urgent need of our care.

Failed appointments can sometimes interfere with ongoing treatment and create scheduling problems for many of our patients. We will always try to accommodate the appointment needs of our patients and make every effort to provide emergency care where needed at short notice.

We will hold a fair first visit policy, whereby no despot is taken. However, if this appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours notice, the next visit we will have to take a small deposit to secure the appointment. This is a deposit payment and is non - refundable, however it can be redeemed against a treatment. It acts as an insurance to insure all our policies and procedures are followed.

Failure to provide us with 48 hours advance notice or failure to present for a scheduled appointment will result in a late cancellation or no show fee. This fee will equate to £60 per half an hour of clinical time lost.

It is understandable that sometimes cancellations cannot be helped due to emergencies. Our aim in communicating our cancellation and failed to attend policy is to avoid any extra charges being passed on to the patient. This updated cancellation policy will be in place from the 1st of January 2022.

Also the clinic will now looking to be taking a small deposit to reserve the time for all appointments. Deposit for specialist treatments like PRP and injection therapy will be: £60. The deposit will be deducted from the total balance of your treatment. Deposits are fully refundable with sufficient notice.


Here we are pleasantly pleased to offer all patients and individuals a FREE consultation with us to discuss matters of interest and possible treatment options. This consultation may in some cases involve an assessment. Consultation is approximately 15–30 minutes. Individuals are more than entitled to scheduling a free consultation. If this appointment is missed or cancelled late outside the 48 hour notice period, follow up consultations will be unfortunately scheduled as a charge consultation of £60.

To reduce the number of missed appointments and to be fair for patients urgently in need of treatment we have a fair policy for rebooking patients putting down a deposit to secure their next appointment. This of course can be carried over if notice is kindly provided within the 48hr notice period.

We have now been running our clinic for 15 years without reinforcing appropriate cancellation fees, but have not been unfortunately put in a position where this needs to be adopted. We thank you for your support and understanding. We hope this will allow us to improve our level of diary organisation, patient care and treatment.
